originally titled "An Abstract interpretation of an apple hitting the floor: Cubism"
i dont know if this is actually cubism, but i kept it in mind. it sort of reminds me more of art deco, but whatever.
i broke up every stage of motion in this image, trying to explain everything. i overcomplicated it. the triangles are the trajectory and the pieces of apple flying off, the straight lines are the slope of descent, the brackets at the top of the image give the impression that this is kind of an equation. this is like my third or fourth oil painting. the white that i had to use dried really weird... so i had to kind of work against it. oh well.
Another brilliant piece. Its very intellecto. But that's not even a word. I would so hang that up on my wall. I love how its like a complicated diagram.
Dude, the artistic quality is so awesome, I totally forgot about wanting to eat the apple. You took my mind off food. No easy feat, my friend. No easy feat at all.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
